Chupicuaro Tripod Bowl

500 BC - 500 AD
Globular bodied bowl with compressed neck and slightly flared rim. Triangular pointed legs, with triangular cut-outs removed inside and out. Buff inside. Outside has red around the body from the midheight up, with a very thin line left unpainted all round. On the upper third are painted linear black diamond designs alternated with similar designs formed by 15 small raised bumps, over-painted.
9" x 5". Mint condition.
