Birthing figures, with a child partially delivered are extremely rare in all cultures; one this size, some 15" tall from the Nayarit culture are even more so, and one with this much power and detail are very, very seldom seen. Fantastic condition and thoughtful and careful detailing make it a fabulous addition to any collection. Excellent provenance.
