Chupicuaro Striped Bowl

500 BC - 500 AD
Globular bowl, bottom slightly flattened, compressed neck, slightly flaring rim. 2 holes through the neck on both sides for suspension. Unburnished buff inside. Red wide stripe around neck area and a wider one around the body just above the flattening, the two stripes joined by wide vertical red stripes alternating with narrowing brown stripes.
6-1/2" x 4-3/4". Mint condition.
